Can I invite friends from one social network to another ???

I was just wondering if one can be a friend to another person who is in a different social network..e.g. a Linkedin.com member can invite a person in Facebook as a friend ??? Do not you think this is the real world wide web ...of friends , for that matter network of social networks ???

Should not google reader and blogger integrate ?

i am not sure if there is any blog / rss reader which also allows you to blog from the similar interface. i do not know why industry has looked blog reading and blogging as two different activities ? why they should not be combined ......
